Highlights
-
TACE generate electricity to power over 100,000 households annually, directly supporting the 2030 national renewable energy goals and contributing to a low-carbon energy future.
-
Initial lifecycle estimates suggest that TACE’s solar energy generation will displace approximately 250,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually, scaling up to over 7 million tons over a 25-year operating period. Fine dust emissions are expected to be reduced by over 230 tons, improving local air quality.
-
Less than 50% of the allocated project area is currently developed, and grid access has already been secured for up to 700MW, allowing rapid scalability. The expanded farm will employ bifacial photovoltaic modules with single-axis trackers, improving both yield and land-use efficiency.
Sustainability
Solar energy displaces high-emission coal/LNG in Korea’s grid. TACE’s estimated reduction of ~286,000 Tons CO₂ / Year from the new capacity supports emissions reductions and South Korea's net-zero roadmap
-
TACE’s investment in bifacial PV technology and single-axis tracking strengthens green infrastructure and encourages clean-tech innovation.
-
By producing power for ~100,000+ households, TACE enhances the livability and sustainability of cities through clean energy.
